Make Room for Memories in Your Holiday Budget
A little preparation can help you enjoy the season with fewer money worries:
Set a total outing budget. Include tickets, transportation, parking, meals and any overnight stay.
Mix ticketed attractions with free celebrations. Community tree lightings can help stretch your holiday entertainment budget.
Choose what matters most. One meaningful experience can become a tradition your family looks forward to each year.
Plan purchases together. Agree on spending limits for souvenirs and extras before arriving.
Balance outings with simple traditions. A family recipe, holiday movie night or neighborhood walk can create memories, too.
The holidays are an opportunity to celebrate the people you love today and think about the future you want to build together.
